Welcome!

Thank you for visiting. The Diaspora Baby explores the significance of cultural (and linguistic) identity for those of us who spent most of our developmental years living outside our countries of origin. It also looks at how this affects us growing up and whether or not it has a major impact on us as we become adults. The content of this blog is based on both extensive research and my own personal experience so I also dabble in writing about identity in general and related topics which interest me or have some bearing on my life and work. Therefore, I’ve expanded this blog to include writings on feminism, gender and issues of women’s rights, drawing on and inspired by my personal and professional work experience.

I hope you enjoy reading the content as much I’ve enjoyed creating it.
